What Does Content Session ID Tell You?
This value tells you the unique ID assigned to the specific sessions. Using this ID, it’s possible to filter delivery data to isolate all bytes and data delivered or collected within a given session.
What To Keep In Mind About This Value
The session ID is established at the moment when the TCP handshake occurs between the requesting device and the HTTP cache to which the request is directed by the reverse proxy.

Use UUID-V4
Content Session ID value should be set when Play Request occurs.
The Content Session ID that appears on Pre Roll Ad events should be the same as the video that follows. Content Session ID on Post Roll ads should match the video that precedes the ad.
the Content Session ID should be cleared after a Playback Complete event occurs.
Content Session ID will be null during startup (i.e. Player_Ready) and in custom events that occur before Play_request.
