NEW YORK, New York & KEYSTONE, Colorado // — August 6, 2018 — Datazoom, the startup behind the first Adaptive Video Logistics platform for online video distribution, announced today their selection for presentation and exhibition at the UpRamp® Innovation Showcase hosted by CableLabs®.
As part of the CableLabs Summer Conference, the UpRamp Innovation Showcase connects cable industry leadership with innovative companies behind tomorrow’s technologies. The longest running pitch event of its kind, the Innovation Showcase provides an opportunity for the founders of high-tech startups to present their company’s products, ideas, and vision to top executives assembled from throughout the cable/broadband industry. Datazoom unveiled its eponymous Adaptive Video Logistics platform at the 2018 National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show, hosted this past April in Las Vegas, Nevada. With a single SDK, Datazoom allows distributors of any variety of video content online (OTT, IPTV, VOD, Live) to capture any raw data pertaining to end user Quality of Experience and Service, unify and standardize it into a larger dataset, and route it to the systems which require it with sub-second latency.
“We’re thrilled to be included among the prestigious selection of startups attending this year’s Innovation Showcase,” said Diane Strutner, CEO and Co-Founder of Datazoom. “Cable set the bar for viewing quality and experience that all online and OTT video platforms measure themselves against today. I’m excited to present Datazoom’s solution to this group of industry pioneers and leaders and show them how to best leverage their position as owners of the complex video delivery infrastructure-ecosystem for the new age of IP delivered video. Datazoom’s solution for low-latency data capture and routing can facilitate parity achievement between streaming and traditional, linear television viewing experiences. I’m looking forward to giving a live demo of our platform and having conversations with this group of technologists about the future of IP delivered video for the cable space.”
Datazoom is a big data technology company pioneering of a new class of software, Adaptive Video Logistics, and has developed the first “mission control” tool to standardize data collection and synchronize data distribution in the streaming media space.
